I’m always on the lookout for treasure. For moms, treasure can come in the form of an awesome coffee, a decadent lipstick, or a body wash that smells like nectar from the gods. This week, I’ve found the most awesome treasures for working moms…actually, they are awesome for any kind of woman, and I wouldn’t be a good friend if I didn’t share them!
Treasure #1: Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub
I’m usually a St. Ives Apricot Scrub girl…however, I wanted to try something different, and stumbled upon my first treasure, the Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub. Wow!! This scrub has a lovely (I know, that sounded cheesy…but it’s SO true) citrusy smell, and my skin feels AMAZING afterward. I feel fresh and clean…and my skin never feels dried out. Check it out….you will totally love it! Get it HERE.
Treasure #2: True Lemon
It’s hard to drink an adequate amount of water, however, we all know how important it is. Water flushes out toxins, improves your skin, and basically, makes everything work correctly. I’ve been really good about not drinking Diet Coke…but some days I get a little dehydrated because I get busy and don’t think about my water. When I try to focus on it…I get bored with plain water. I decided to try my next treasure, the True Lemon. Lemon water is my favorite, and I was so happy with this mix. It’s not overly sweet like some fake flavorings can be. It’s just refreshing. I got so much more water down yesterday, and felt so much better since I wasn’t as dehydrated. Get it HERE.
Treasure #3: Fine Point, No Bleed, Sharpies
Between work, my blog, and life…I take a LOT of notes and make a LOT of lists. I have two notebooks that I carry with me at all times, and I have one that I keep at work. My work notebook is a combination journal/to-do list, which helps me focus, and prevents me from forgetting tasks that need to be completed. The ones I carry are for taking notes on blog posts I want to write, or websites/blogs I want to read.
I’m not very creative, so I love using different colors for each task. The problem was that I was only able to use one side of the page because the colors would bleed through the pages. Then I found my third treasure, these Sharpies are AMAZING!!! Now I’m able to use both sides of the paper…no bleeding!! As a result, now I can take even more notes, and create even more lists. Happy, happy girl! Get it HERE.
