Product Review: Natrogix bliss – Top 9 Essential Oils Set
Essential oils are amazing! I first learned about them when my older kids were babies (the oldest of which is now 20 *shocked face*).
I did receive this product at no cost, but all opinions and events are my own. I only endorse products I truly care about.
The more I learned about their benefits, the more excited I became. I used them in carpet fresheners, air sprays, massage oils… you name it! The smells were heavenly.
Essential oils have been used for eons to reduce stress, increase feelings of happiness, and generate a sense of peace and calm.
I started to notice that the more I used them, the less sick we became. We didn’t catch colds… we didn’t get stomach bugs… I was amazed and slowly became addicted to them! Who needs expensive perfume, when you can be surrounded by the scents of nature.
Since then I always have essential oils with me. I carry lavender and peppermint in my purse at ALL times, and I always, ALWAYS have my diffuser necklace on. No matter how bad my stress gets, taking a sniff of my lavender and peppermint always makes me feel better.
When Natrogix Bliss asked me to review their Top 9 Essential Oils… I was like a kid in a candy shop. The wait for the oils to arrive was excruciating.
This last week has been way beyond crazy. Work has been hectic, registering for school was an emotional roller coaster (really long story), and home life has been total chaos. When I arrived, and saw the package. I literally started ripping the package open!! Not an easy task… that sucker was sealed tightly.
The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the outer package is. My favorite color is deep purple, so when I saw the majestic color covered by a decorative beige color… I immediately felt like I’d received a luxurious present.
It was almost too beautiful to open (hey, I said almost… there are essential oils to explore!).
The package comes with the following oils:
Tea Tree – I always use this for medicinal purposes. When someone in my family has a scratch, it immediately gets slathered in tea tree oil. I’ve even put a few drops in water and had family members swish it around in their mouths to treat tooth infections. You’d be amazed at how well it works!! (just don’t swallow). Tea Tree oil can also be used to treat yeast infections.
Eucalyptus – This smell is one of my favorites! Yes, I’m one of those weirdos that loves Vicks Vapor Rub. I don’t know if it’s because I associate the scent with clearing my sinuses (and then feeling better) or because I’m a sucker for sharp, clean smells. Whatever the reason, I love the strong, clean smell. The scent is also used to relieve exhaustion, and is conducive to increased creativity.
Sweet Orange – Orange, citrusy scents make me feel happy. Sweet Orange is so joyful and uplifting… without being overwhelming.
Frankincense – Everyone who has ever heard the story of the birth of Jesus has heard of Frankincense. Though I’d heard of the oil since I was a child, I’d never smelled it! I was very pleasantly surprised!
Peppermint – It doesn’t matter how many times I change purses (which to my husband’s horror, is a LOT) … I’m never without Peppermint. Peppermint brings me out of my fog and helps me concentrate more. I use it with lavender in my diffuser necklace. It works even better than coffee… and that’s saying a LOT!
Lemon – This is another one of those citrusy scents that makes me feel happy. It’s one of my favorite oils to use in homemade cleaning products and air fresheners. Lemon literally “brightens” a room, and is such an uplifting delight to your senses.
Lemongrass – I’m not as enthralled with the lemongrass, as I am with the lemon. I think it’s because the pure lemon smells…well, purer. I guess the best way to say it is that the lemon smells cleaner. However the lemongrass isn’t bad at all…just not as fresh-smelling as the pure lemon.
Rosemary – Rosemary is another essential oil that I’d never really smelled before. I LOVE the herb, and plant it every time I have a patch of earth to grown anything… but I’d never paid much attention to the essential oil. It has a sweet, but not too sweet, smell that lifts you up. It’s known for its stimulating effects. Now that I’m starting a new, more challenging, semester, I’ll definitely be making more use of it, since it’s known as the “herb for remembrance.”
…and last but definitely not least
Lavendar – This was my very first essential oil. Not surprisingly, because it is the most popular. Lavender is another essential oil that I carry with me at all times. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety, so my boss bought me my diffuser necklace for Christmas. Every single day I wear it, and 99% of the time it has lavender in the mixture. It is amazing at reducing stress and anxiety.
Natrogix Bliss’s Top Nine Essential Oils pack comes with all of these wonderful essential oils. Because I love essential oils so much, I was a little worried that the pack wouldn’t live up to my expectations. The set more than exceeded my expectations!
I worked all day, and knew that I would be up late writing this product review… so I used the “Relief for Fatigue” recipe. My mixture contained 1 drop of Frankincense, 2 drops of Rosemary, and 3 drops of lemon in my diffuser necklace. It is SUCH an uplifting combination and truly does have the effect it promotes.
If you are interested in experimenting with essential oils, this pack would be a GREAT starter kit.
The nine essential oils can be combined to:
- Freshen your laundry and washing machine
- Relieve stress
- Reduce muscle pain
- Help with sinus issues
- Freshen the air in your home
- Remove gum, grease, and crayon marks
- Ease tension
- Relieve fatigue (this is ESPECIALLY helpful for working moms)
- Eliminate dandruff
- Promote healthy skin
- Enhance beauty routine
- Reduce acne
…. and much, much more!!
When I was asked to review this product, I got really excited… but to be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As I began to open every bottle, I tried to keep an open mind. I closed my eyes, emptied my mind, and just…inhaled.
The mix of emotions that generated ranged from joyful, to peaceful, to total relaxation.
It’s amazing the range of emotions that can be generated by just one scent.
This is definitely my favorite product to review yet!
